More than 200 artisans from around the country and the Bay Area display their work during this two-day event. The artwork, often one-of-a-kind, represents widely varying styles and mediums including painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics and photography, as well as mixed-media, fiber, metal, leather and wood. The art of music is also well represented, as street musicians strum and sing. Summerfest hours are 10:00 am to 5:00 am.

The Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, held each year on the third weekend in September, is the largest event in Lamorinda and one of the five biggest outdoor festivals in Contra Costa County. Over 50,000 attended in 2010, strolling among stalls of art, handmade crafts, sampling foods from top local restaurants, and enjoying quality wines and microbrews. We are a four time winner of the Diablo Magazine Best of the East Bay’s Best Festival – including winning in 2013. Festival hours are Saturday 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The Montclair Sidewalk Fine Arts and Crafts Fall Fest returns to Oakland Saturday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 28 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sponsored by the Montclair Village Association, this free event showcases works from more than 70 artists and crafters who will line the streets of the Montclair Business District displaying a wide array of handcrafted works including garments, sculptures, photography, watercolor and oil paintings, jewelry, ceramics and more. All of the artists will be on hand to visit with patrons while some will be demonstrating their craft during the show.
